MOST MEMORABLE CAPTURE: This would have to be having five runs in a session from the notoriously tricky Elstow One in Bedfordshire. The biggest weighed just over 41lb, and the catch also included a 31lb linear. I also have fond memories of catching a fish known as Five Star from Waverley Valley Lakes in Norfolk at just under 35lb. Its a fish I had been targeting for 10 years.
MOST MEMORABLE ANGLING MOMENT: Fishing at Mirror Pool in France and having a very memorable two week trip with my angling pal Tim Denyer. We caught loads of 40s to over 50lb and just chilled out. We had the whole lake booked for ourselves.
