Orchid Lakes
England is blessed with some of the best day ticket carp fishing available, and one venue which sits right at the top of the English day ticket tree is Orchid Lakes in Oxfordshire. This two-water complex is located at Dorchester-on-Thames, not far from Abingdon, and boasts two waters on its complex, namely the main lake Orchid at 16-acres and the smaller Club Lake at just under 2-acres.
Venture is the official sponsor of Orchid Lakes, an association which reflects the quality and commitment of both companies. The association was brought together by Simon Crow, an angler renown for travelling up and down the country reviewing day ticket fisheries for Carpworld magazine, and someone who fell in love with Orchid back in the early 1990s when he first fished there.
